Bugs in a Blanket

Ingredients:

1  can pillsbury refrigerated breadstick dough

24 cocktail sausages

3/4 cup shoestring potato sticks

Ketchup (for decoration)

Directions:   Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.  Unroll the dough and separate as if making per package directions.  Cut each of the breadstick pieces of dough in half so that you now have 24 pieces.  Wrap a piece of dough around each sausage as if making pigs in a blanket.  Put them seam side down on a baking sheet.  Bake for 10-14 minutes until golden brown.  Let cool for a couple of minutes so that you can handle them.  Push the potato sticks into the dough to form the legs and antennae of each "bug".  Adorn each bug with dots and stripes of ketchup.  You could also use mustard, relish, and/or BBQ sauce if you prefer.
